This is my third year as the media specialist at Santa Fe. I completed my undergraduate education at UMKC and became certified in Library Science in 2006. I am currently working on my MS in Library Science and Information Services at UCM. I love to read (of course!) and currently am enjoying the Mark Twain and KC3 award nominees for the 2009-2010 school year (The Big One-Oh is my favorite so far!). One of my favorite authors is Dr. Seuss and I look forward to introducing my favorite characters of his (Horton, Yertle the Turtle, and the Sneetches) with their important messages to our students each year.  I have three children who are each on very different schedules in elementary, middle and high school.  I am honored to work in the beautiful new media center which was renovated last summer.  Please stop by to see all of the great new changes!

I have been Santa Fe's media clerk for twelve years.  I have two children, one in high school and one in college (MU).  I LOVE our library books!  My favorites are Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs and Ham, Hattie Big Sky, and the Dear America series.
