The Santa Fe Media Center supports and promotes local, state and national reading programs and literary awards. Click on a link to the left to see the current list of nominees, award winning books, and reading program descriptions. Our library also promotes reading through other activities such as book fairs, RIF (Reading Is Fundamental), Read Across America, and Genre Cafe'.
Santa Fe believes that reading is an important factor in student achievement and creating lifelong successful readers. Research has shown that children who are motivated and spend more time reading do better in school.
