The Mustang Club was created by Dr. Swezy to acknowledge exemplary students at Santa Fe.

The Mustang Club is comprised of students in third, fourth, and fifth grades.  Students are nominated quarterly by their teacher.  If approved by faculty in the school, the students will be selected for the club.

The criteria for being nominated is as follows: Students should demonstrate good citizenship, show improvement in their grades, spend no time in the recovery room or have a suspension, no bus referrals, and a good record of returning their homework.
